Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.

-Psalms 51:10 TPT

The word of God is an incorruptible seed, when planted on the right ground, a clean heart, will produce fruits. Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV says, “ As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

The heart is the ground that causes the word of God to grow, so we have to cleanse it of anything that can choke the word. Things like cares of the world, deceitfulness of the riches, worries and anxieties can prevent the word from bearing fruit in our hearts. ( Matthew 13) Hence we have to continuously renew our minds with the word of God.

That is why our theme says “Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.” The Word of God cleanses the heart of old so we can plant the new, for old things are passed away. That is why the Lord said, “ Mark 2:22 NIV says, “And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO RENEW OUR MINDS WITH HIS WORDS DAILY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
