RESIST THE ENEMY SPIRITUALLY I

So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony.

James (Jacob) 4:7 TPT

God is not really concerned about our fight with the enemy, for He already defeated them. That is why He wants us to surrender to Him first ,then resist the enemy. We surrender to God by aligning our thoughts with His thoughts through His words. That is the realm the enemy cannot walk. Speak the words he cannot speak, the truth, and He will flee from you.

John 3:34 NIV says, “ For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, “ The enemy cannot speak the truth for He was not sent by God.

The sum, the essence of all God’s words is the truth. (Psalms 119:160) The enemy can only quote or hear the words, but cannot speak or understand the truth .

Jesus called Him the father of lies. ( John 8:44) We are the only ones on earth that can hear or speak the truth. That is what sets us apart from the enemy. (John 17:17) The truth are the words proceeding from the mouth of God. Ephesians 6: 17 calls it the sword of the Spirit. Let us resist the enemy with it, and He will flee.
