REST IN GOD'S CARE

Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Psalm 35:27 AMPC

God is so delighted in our prosperity that He took it upon Himself. Moses told the Israelites, “But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

(Deuteronomy 8:18 AMPC)

Just as in the desert where the Israelites food, water, light, heat, and health bills, as well as their protection from wild animals and fiery serpents, were on God Himself. And they never lacked. In the same way. He had paid the bill for our prosperity in full, and we are complete. Isaiah 53:5 says that the chastisement required for our peace and well-being was upon Him. How can we lack?

Beloved, God is a righteous Father who already knows all that we need. That means He has already provided all that we need for the right time and right place. Hence we can never lack. The Psalmist says that our prosperity is a proof that God is just and there is no unrighteousness in Him. ( Psalms 92: 14-15)
