REST IN HIS FAVOR

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

‭Psalms 56:3 NIV‬

In distress, we call upon the Lord for we trust Him to save us, if we don't trust Him why would we bother praying? That is why we should not worry, for our worries are because we couldn't help ourselves. If we cannot help ourselves but only God does, why worry? “‬Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? (‭Luke 12:25 NIV)

That is why we should not be afraid of our fears or worried about our worries, for we have a God whom we can trust. Zechariah said, “ ‭Luke 1:69 NIV‬ says, “He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David” Christ is our horn of salvation. Psalms 89:17 NIV

says, “For you are their glory and strength, and by your favor you exalt our horn.”

Since Our horn is exalted by His favor and not by our power or merit, let's not pray out of fear or worries. Think of this; If our horn is exalted by His favor , who can be against us? 1 John 4:4 NIV says, “ You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REST IN HIS FAVOR IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
