REST IN HIS JOY I

In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.

‭‭John 5:17 NIV‬‬

Ponder this; if we know that the Father is still working, He is always loving , always faithful, always providing and always present to help us in distress; how joyful will our life be? If we know that Jesus is still going about doing good just as when He was on earth and even more now that He is with the Father as well as in us, how joyful will our life be today?

‭‭Isaiah 49:10 NIV‬‬ says that, “They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.”

If we know that the one who is always compassionate, leads us, how joygful will our life be? That is why we should no longer live in worries, fear or sadness irrespective of our earthly circumstances for the Lord is always working. No wonder the Bible says that the joy of the Lord is our strength, and not the joy of our earthly circumstances.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PUT OUR JOY IN THE LORD AND NOT IN OUR CIRCUMSTANCES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
