SAVOR HIS SALVATION WITH JOY AND PERSEVERANCE II

This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction: that Your word has revived me and given me life.

‭‭Psalm 119:50 AMPC‬‬

‭‭1 Peter 2:9 tells us that we were called out of darkness into his wonderful light.

So we live in His light, the light that gives life. Remember, in Him, the Word was the life and the life is the light of mankind. (John 1:4) This is our consolation as our text says, that His word has given us life.

That is why the Lord told us to remain, abide in Him. That is to live in Him so we can partake in the light of life. It doesn't matter anymore the circumstances of our life, if we remain in Him, we shall walk in the light of life. ‭‭Psalms 56:13 NIV‬‬ says, “For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.”

No wonder the Lord said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;” (John 11:25 NIV‬‬) This shows that there is a chance we might walk through valleys of death in this world, but because we live in His light that gives life, we shall live.

So, instead of living in worries about not having it all, we should persevere with joy in His salvation, savoring our relationship with God. ‭‭Luke 12:21 NLT‬‬ says, “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PERSEVERE IN ALL THINGS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
