SECURE YOUR TREASURES CONCLUDES

DETACH FROM WORLDLY GAINS

As we conclude this series on securing your treasures, let us draw our minds to this truth. “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever (1 John 2:15-17 NLT)

The love of God depends on where we store our treasures. Matthew 6:21 NLT

says, “ Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”

We don't use things of this world for its own sake, Everything is supposed to lead us to God and not to itself or to us.

If we store our treasures in the world, It is passing away along with the world, but if we store in Christ, it is eternal.

Luke 12:21 NLT says, “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God.”
