SECURE YOUR TREASURES II

Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal.

Matthew 6:20 NLT

DO NOT STORE YOUR TREASURES AWAY FROM JESUS

Do not try to have your prosperity,health etc, away from Jesus, for by doing so we are storing our treasures where moths and rust can destroy them. The enemy tactic is to have us store our treasures away from Jesus, by defining our completeness by sight. Adam and Eve wanted their completeness away from God, and lost out of Eden. The prodigal son wanted his prosperity away from the father, but lost it to moths, rusts and thieves.

For when we try to rate our completeness by sight, we are storing our treasures in ourselves, where it can be plundered. “For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT)

To store our treasures in Christ is to rest in our union with Him, trusting in His care and provision.

The Lord said, “Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house” (Mark 3:27 NLT) If we store our treasures in Christ, our strong Man, do you think moths,rusts and thieves can plunder them? He is the stone that the builders rejected that has now become the cornerstone.Everyone who stumbles over that stone will be broken to pieces, and it will crush anyone it falls on.(Luke 20:17-18 )

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STORE OUR TREASURES IN CHRIST TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
