SET YOUR EYES ON JESUS

OUR theme points directly to the mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory. We take our focus away from ourselves and our earthly circumstances and focus on Christ. That is, we define our earthly circumstances by what Jesus did, His finished work of the cross, and not the other way round. Our hearts are filled with joy as we learn to trust in Jesus, who he is and what He has done. Psalms 89:16 TPT says it well, “We can do nothing but leap for joy all day long, for we know who you are and what you do, and you’ve exalted us on high.”

We believe that If we ask anything in His name, He will do it, not because we understand it all, rather because He said so. If God wants us to have life through His son, why can't we trust Him? “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” (Luke 11:13 GNT)

Beloved, let us esteem our union with Christ over our haves and have-nots. For “A king does not win because of his powerful army; a soldier does not triumph because of his strength. The Lord watches over those who obey him, those who trust in his constant love. He saves them from death; he keeps them alive in times of famine.”(Psalm 33:16, 18-19 GNT)
