SHINE YOUR LIGHT

‭As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.

We have to shine our light, for time is coming when no light will shine. When Christ was in the world, He was limited in movement, He had to walk to Samaria just to be the light to the Samaritan woman. Today He is not limited for He is in all of us. He shines through us wherever we go, enabling us to light up the world.

The Lord said, “I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!"(‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:49‬ ‭NIV‬‬) We should be burning and shining. Imagine if one of us is not shining the light, that means that particular area will not be experiencing the light of Jesus Christ. Hence will be in darkness. What if Christ were to visit the Samaritan woman today, and there is no one burning and shining there?

Remember, we don't need to have it all to burn and shine, a simple smile, kind gestures, sharing the gospel or even praying for one another, burns and shines.The Bible said this about John the Baptist, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true. And in that place many believed in Jesus."(‭‭John‬ ‭10:41‭-‬42‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE BURNING AND SHINING TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
