Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5 ESV

If you dress your son the way you desire and a stranger tells him to change, you would expect him to refuse—because he trusts the one who clothed him. In the same way, by baptism, God clothed us with Christ, Christ's abundant and prosperous life is our life. This means Christ identity is our identity, as He is, so are we in this world.

So, He expects us to stand firm in what He has done, use our words, grounded in truth and not in our circumstances

especially in the face of opposition.

Therefore, it is our responsibility to resist every contrary voice with the Word of God—and they will flee.

We see this kind of bold conviction in the Lame man who Jesus healed by the pool of Bethesda. When challenged by the authorities, he stood on the word he had received. As recorded in John 5:10-11, “The man who made me well said to me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”

Let this be our posture: to hold firmly to what God has said, refusing to be swayed by opposing voices, especially from our minds, and walking confidently in the freedom He has already given.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BE COURAGEOUS FOR THE LORD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
