OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

Jesus replied, “Have I been with you all this time, Philip, and yet you still don’t know who I am? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father! So why are you asking me to show him to you?

‭John 14:9 NLT‬

Notice what the Lord said to Philip in our theme verse, “Have I been with you all this time,”. He did not say , "Have you been with me all this time?” This sets Christianity apart from other religions. ‭For it is no longer about if we are with Him, but rather, He is with us. It is not about what we have done or can do to be with Him, it is what God has done in Jesus to bring us to His presence. Acts 17:28 NIV‬ says, ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’

Christ is our life, we are not separate from our life. Anyone who has seen us has seen Christ, including Satan and his demons! for we no longer live, Christ who lives in us, does His own work , and not us.So we don't struggle to be with Christ, for as He is, so are we now in this world. Christ defines us , we don't define Him.

We need to live and act like those who Christ is with and not like those who are with Christ. Meditating on the word of God helps us to be this Immanuel conscious. Such a mindset frees us from unnecessary worries and struggles in all circumstances for it is no longer about us, but about Him. It might not be possible with us, but with God all things are possible. ‭Philippians 4:13 KJV‬ says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN OUR UNION WITH CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
