OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

STAND STRONG IN YOUR UNION WITH CHRIST III

The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”

‭John 10:24 NIV‬

The Lord does not keep anyone in suspense as the people in our theme believe. It is just that we try to define Him and even one another by external standards. In the proceeding verse the Lord answered them, “I have already told you, but you would not believe me. The deeds I do by my Father's authority speak on my behalf; (‭John 10:25 GNT‬)

OUR life is defined by the deeds we do through our union with Christ, the deeds Christ does through us, the accomplished work of the cross. Those deeds bring glory to God and not our possessions. In ‭John 17:4 GNT‬, He said, “ I have shown your glory on earth; I have finished the work you gave me to do.” So our glory is not from our haves and have-nots, rather from Christ in us displaying His accomplished work of the cross.

That is why the world can neither contain nor define us, for we live by the authority of Christ crucified: The Bible says, “ Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:1, 5 NIV‬)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND STRONG IN OUR UNION WITH CHRIST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
