STAR IS RISEN

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the people of Sheth.

Numbers 24:17 NIV

A star has risen among us , a scepter is risen and has crushed the works of the Devil. Glory! John 3:8 NIV says, “The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” Sickness, hardships, marital crisis, failures, untimely death etc, are all works of the devil, and the Lord has crushed them. Zechariah said, “He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David”(Luke 1:69 NIV)

We shouldn't be worrying over the troubles of our days, instead our mindset should be that they have been crushed already. Hebrews 2:14 NIV says, “Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— “

It does not matter how much trouble the devil throws at us, none of his weapons against us shall prosper. The Lord already crushed his head on the cross. Numbers 23:23 NIV says, “ There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘See what God has done!’”
