Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, And rely on horses, Who trust in chariots because they are many, And in horsemen because they are very strong, But who do not look to the Holy One of Israel, Nor seek the Lord!

Isaiah 31:1 NKJV

God's plan before man was created was not for man to be alone, rather to be in union with Christ, in Him, a relationship sealed with the Holy Spirit. That is why today we are like those in the desert, but under God's care . We are like clay jars, but we hold the treasure of God. This makes our new life, a life of eternal relationship with the very One who loves us and knows what we need.

Think about how the prodigal son’s life was filled with struggles when He took His share away from the Father. But when he came back to the Father who already knew what he needed, he received mercy before asking. He also received, without asking, the best clothes, a ring on his finger, good sandals on his feet and the best calf for celebration, that is grace upon grace! (Luke 15:22-23) All from the father who already knew what he needed.

Beloved, if you sow a seed, it first dies, then starts a new life under the care of the one who gives seed to the sower. The same way, we have died to this world, our new life is under the care of the one who already knows what we need, the one that teaches us how to prosper. In Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV, He said, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SURRENDER TO HIS CARE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
