THE GLORY OF IMMANUEL

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in radiant splendor before them, lighting up the field with the blazing glory of God, and the shepherds were terrified!

Luke 2:9 TPT

Ponder how our text says that the blazing glory of God lit up the field, that is amazing! Through our union with Christ,

We have this same glory lighting up every

aspects of our lives, everywhere we go. John 17:22 TPT says, “For the very glory you have given to me I have given them..”

This is the joy we celebrate at Christmas, we have a glorious life in Christ. As He is glorious, so are we now in this world. “For the very glory you have given to me I have given them”

We cannot rate God's glory based on our present circumstances, rather by His accomplished work of the cross. John 17:4 ESV says, “ I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do.” Christ Himself is the one living in us displaying the glory of His accomplished work of the cross. So we fear no evil when we walk through darkness in our lives for Christ is our hope of glory!

If there is any aspect of our lives that seems not to be reflecting God's glory, be it financial, marital or health etc, set your eyes on Christ, keep beholding His glory, live in consciousness of it. For it is by beholding that we are transformed. 2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV says, “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE GLORY OF IMMANUEL IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
