THE WORLD NEEDS TO SEE JESUS

They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, with a request. “Sir,” they said, “we would like to see Jesus.”

John 12:21 NIV

Beloved, the world needs to see Jesus, they are hungry for Jesus, but where can they find Him? In you and I. What an honor! This is our season to shine, our time to step out of our shadows and reveal Christ in us for the world to see. St. Paul said in Galatians 1:15-16 NIV, “But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles,..”

Christ in us is not just for us, but for the world to inherit the goodness of God. Even when Phillip informed Jesus about the request from the Greeks to see Him, He was troubled for He loves His flock so much and knew that His time has come to be glorified and for the rest of the world be drawn to Him. “ And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” (John 12:32 NIV) In John 10:16 NIV He also said, “I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.”

Beloved, it is through us that He is drawing all people to Himself. The same God who revealed Himself in Christ is revealing His son in us through the gospel. Let us feed on His Words and reflect His goodness to the world who are hungry for Jesus! Kings are waiting to walk in our light.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ALLOW THE GLORY OF CHRIST IN US TO SHINE TO THE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
