THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NOT WORRY

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.’

Isaiah 46:10 NIV

Why did the Lord tell us not to worry about tomorrow? In Matthew 6:34 NIV, He said, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” For He already has planned how our tomorrow's will be even before we knew good or bad. He predicts the end from the beginning.

Psalms 139:16 NIV says. “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” So He has already ordained how our tomorrow will be. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV confirms it , “ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

You can see why He said do not worry about tomorrow, for He has already ordained our tomorrow with prosperity and not harm, He has given us hope and a future. Let us learn to persevere, not in defeat but in victory for our heavenly Father already knows how the end will be. No wonder James 1:2 NIV says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” For the outcome will surely be of good and not of harm.
