TROUBLES BUILD SUPER GLORY

The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

Romans 5:20 NIV

No more worries about our daily troubles, for Christ has glorified God on earth by completing the work of redemption. So the glory lost through sin is restored by his redemptive work of grace. Romans 3:23-24 NKJV says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus ”.

Romans 6:14 NKJV says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” So, whenever trouble, be it financial, marital, health crises etc, arises because of sin, grace supersedes it with overwhelming glory. Isaiah 60:2 NIV says, “See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.” WE remain the bush engulfed in flames but never burnt.

So, in Christ the more troubles we get, the more glory it builds for us. 2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV says, “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Just as the Lord said when He heard that His beloved Lazarus was sick, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4) In the same way, all our troubles must end in glory for when trouble increases because of sin, grace supersedes with glory that far outweighs them all!
