TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS

All heaven will praise your great wonders, Lord; myriads of angels will praise you for your faithfulness.

Psalms 89:5 NLT

After the fall, man lost out of God’s presence, no more spiritual fellowship.

Imagine how the angels even the highest angelic powers adore our own heavenly Father, enjoying His faithfulness. Psalms 89:7 NLT says, “ The highest angelic powers stand in awe of God. He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne.” Yet our prayers are filled with our needs and desires, no personal relationship, all because we don't have good knowledge of His faithfulness.

The Bible says about the prodigal son, “When he finally came to his senses, he said to himself, ‘At home even the hired servants have food enough to spare, and here I am dying of hunger! (Luke 15:17 NLT) He understands his father's faithfulness, even to his servants .Imagine how much our lives would be transformed if we learnt to trust in His faithfulness.

OUR heavenly Father's dream is for His will to be done on earth as it is done in heaven. That is, just as the angels, Our prayers should be more of praises and worship to Him, and not of just asking for this or that. This is possible if we trust His faithfulness as the angels do. Even to our earthly desires as marriage, Jesus said about it, “In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven. (Matthew 22:30 BSB)
