RENOUNCE ALL AND LIVE FOR JESUS

In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples.

‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ says, "And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."

Imagine that God wants the world to know that He is with us. Despite our fallen state, He wants the world to know that He is with us.( Ezekiel 34:30) That is, He is revealing the mystery of Immanuel through us, the treasures of "Christ in you the hope of glory. He is not even ashamed to identify with us. " ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬ says "Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters."

In the same way, we have to renounce ourselves, our desires, and all possessions and receive Him the way He is, in Spirit and truth. We don't need to have it all to prove to the world that Christ is in us. That is, we don't allow our natural circumstances to define His presence in our lives. WE also don't allow our haves or have-nots to deter us from living for Him.

Remember, He is not ashamed of our weaknesses or our haves and have-nots, and calls us His brothers and sisters. The same way we should not allow our weaknesses, or haves and have-nots to prevent us from telling the world that Jesus is our Lord. The world is passing away, along our weaknesses and haves and have-nots, all that will remain is our union with Christ
