WAIT IN CONFIDENT HOPE

I am waiting for my Lord, like a guard waiting and waiting for the morning to come.
Psalms 130:6 ERV
The night guards wait for the morning with confident hope for they know that morning must come. Why? The Lord has a covenant with night and day, that cannot be broken,“This is what the Lord says: ‘If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time,” (Jeremiah 33:20 NIV)
In the same way, when we pray, we should wait in confident hope that the Lord will answer, for no one can break the covenant of his blood ( Zechariah 9:11) 1 Peter 2:24 NIV says, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” All the wrongs we can ever have in life have been nailed to cross, we are now living for what is right.
That is why 1 Peter 2:25 NIV says, "For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” We should have the mindset that we are no longer vulnerable to distress as sheep without a shepherd, rather, we have fullness of life for we are back to our true Shepherd. Let us wait on Him in joyful hope as the night guards wait for the morning to show up. Romans 12:12 NLT says, “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WAIT FOR LORD IN JOYFUL EXPECTANCY TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
