For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Romans 8:29 ESV

Waiting on the Lord is an exciting experience, for we are looking forward to a transformation into a life that has already been written for us. It is like trying to unwrap a present . We do not wait on the new while holding on to the old, hanging on to the old life. The Lord said in Luke 9:62 ESV, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” We do not wait with a divided heart, there is only one option, the new life, the old has passed away.

Just as the Israelites in the desert had no other option than to wait on the Lord for their cares. So also, our old life subject to decay is dead, Christ is our life and only hope. So we have to constantly renew our minds with His words so as to be transformed into Christ's image, the will of God and not conform to that of the world. That is why the Bible tells us to surrender to God, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of our minds. ( Romans 12:1-3)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SET OUR MINDS ON CHRIST AND NOT ON THE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
