For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Romans 8:29 ESV
While waiting on the Lord, learn to use your mouth in declaring your faith until you see it happen. Isaiah 51:16 NKJV says, “And I have put My words in your mouth; I have covered you with the shadow of My hand, That I may plant the heavens, Lay the foundations of the earth, And say to Zion, ‘You are My people.’ ”
Isaiah 49:2 NKJV says, “And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword”
Our word declarations determine our way of living.
Mary, in her song to God said, “For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed." (Luke 1:48 NKJV) That was after the angel told her that she will be the mother of the Lord. She had not felt her pregnancy yet, or seen the baby Jesus, before declaring her faith. She looked past her lowly state, and set her heart as a blessed one, “For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.”
Unlike Zechariah in Luke 1, that doubted God's promises and had his mouth shut down until the promise was fulfilled.
Mary stood firm on God's promises and used her mouth to receive what God had spoken about her. That should be our mindset while waiting on the Lord for anything. This is the worship God seeks from us, those who worship Him for who He is. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24 NKJV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SET OUR MINDS ON CHRIST AND NOT ON THE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
