For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.

Psalm 56:13 ESV

The women that came to see Jesus at the tomb were asked by the two men, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?

(Luke 24:5 ESV) Christ does not live in the death realm but in the realm of life, so are we. Many Christians though raised to a new life with Christ still worried about the things of the old life. They still walk by sight of their earthly circumstances rather than by faith in what God has done in Christ Jesus.

For instance, Psalm 23:4 ESV says, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;” Valleys of the shadows of death could be trials in our finances, marriages, health etc. They are of the death realm which the Bible says has passed away from us for we are no longer in the death realm, but in Christ. So instead of worrying about what has passed away from us, we should set our eyes on the new, “I will fear no evil, for you are with me;” God is with us!

OUR union with Christ is the new life we have, the old life of struggling and worrying alone has passed away.

(2 Corinthians 5:17) If we walk in this consciousness irrespective of our trials, the trials will pass away. 1 John 1:7 ESV says, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WALK IN THE LIGHT WHERE CHRIST IS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
