“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”

Romans 6:4 NLT

Beloved, Ecclesiastes 1:9 NLT says, “History merely repeats itself. It has all been done before. Nothing under the sun is truly new.”

Indeed, nothing under the sun is truly new. Only God can make all things new! Revelation 21:5 NLT declares, “And the one sitting on the throne said, ‘Look, I am making everything new!’. Through the finished work of Christ, He has established a new life for everyone who belongs to Him, a new identity and a new beginning in Christ.

Second Corinthians 5:17 NLT says, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” Yes! the old is gone, all are new in Christ, and the enemy has no claim in this new life for He is not in Christ.

He only seeks to distract us by drawing our attention back to the old. He wants us to interpret our present through the failures of our past, measure our identity by our former experiences, and approach new circumstances with an old mindset.

Hence we become victims if we walk in the new life with an old mindset, then we are giving the enemy a foothold in our lives.

This is why the renewal of our minds is so important. Jesus illustrates this principle in Mark 2:22 NLT: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE OUR NEW LIFE WITH NEW MINDSET IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
