So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.

Philemon 1:17-18 NIV

Our theme is from St. Paul's letter to Philemon urging him to receive Onesimus as a brother and no longer as a runner away slave. Think about what He said; “So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.” Doesn't it sound like what Jesus did for us? Colossians 2:14 NIV says, “ having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.”

All our debts were charged to Jesus' account. We are forever debt free and the Father welcomes us not as slaves, but as He welcomes Jesus, as His children. Ephesians 1:6 NKJV says,,”to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.” He treats us as He treats Jesus; as He is righteous, prosperous, healthy and complete, so are we now in this world! Glory! Hosea 1:10 NIV spoke about this,

“In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’

Let us always approach the Father with confidence knowing that we are debt free and He welcomes us as He does for Jesus. Hebrews 2:11 NIV says, “Both the one who makes people holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. “

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT WE ARE DEBT FREE, HOLY AND ACCEPTABLE TO THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
