WE ARE FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS

Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

John 4:48 NKJV

We are in a fallen world, a world immersed in unbelief for they go by seeing is believing. But we are chosen for an era like this, not to live as the world does, but for signs and wonders that they may see and believe in God. Isaiah 8:18 NKJV says, “ Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the Lord of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.”

A good tree is known by it's fruits. The fruits grow on the branches. We are the branches that displays the excellences of God to the unbelieving world. I Peter 2:9 NKJV says,“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”

Our duty as the branches chosen to be the signs and wonders to the unbelieving world, is to abide, be deep rooted in the Lord through word meditations. Let His words saturate our hearts and minds until these signs begin to manifest. “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18 ESV)
