WE ARE JUSTIFIED

He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Romans 4:25 NIV

In a court of law, acquittal does not necessarily prove that the defendant is innocent. Rather, it simply means that the prosecutor could not prove the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. In the same way, our justification does not prove that we are innocent, rather it declares us righteous because Jesus received the penalty for our sins.

That is why, justification does not mean we would not face sin and troubles of this world, rather it means that those troubles have been deprived of their power to destroy us. This way, we do not rate our salvation by our earthly circumstances, but by the finished work of the cross. In John 16:33 NIV, the Lord said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

We live through all circumstances as victors and not victims, for, in all troubles we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. (Romans 8:37 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE A JUSTIFIED LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
