WE ARE LEAK PROOF III

who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

-‭‭II Corinthians 1:22 NKJV‬‬

OUR text is telling us that we are sealed with God's own Spirit, a seal of ownership, showing that we are God's own purchased people, His eternal possession and He is with us till the end of time. As those preserved by God's Spirit, we are secured by His love, mercy, faithfulness and favor for eternity.

Think calmly these words of the Psalmist:

“ In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My sore ran in the night, and ceased not: My soul refused to be comforted. Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favourable no more? Is his mercy clean gone forever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies?” (‭‭Psalm 77:2, 7-9 KJV‬‬)

Beloved, sometimes we might go through similar moments that makes us question God's love, faithfulness and favor. We should remind ourselves that we are sealed with His love, faithfulness and favor, hence we are not leaky. That is why we have to remain in the Lord, pondering His words daily, so as to live in the consciousness that we have His seal of ownership. ‭‭Psalms 111:7 MSG‬‬ says, “All his products are guaranteed to last— Never out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.” Beloved, we are leak-proof!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE IN THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT WE ARE SEALED IN CHRIST TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
