WE ARE SAVED FROM THE CRUELTY OF THE DARK PLACES

Have regard for your covenant, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.

Psalms 74:20 NIV

Let us not lose heart over the cruelty and haunts of violence in the dark places of the world today. For though we live in the world, we are not of the dark kingdom of this world. Colossians 1:13 NIV says, “For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,”

We are in a kingdom where there is no cruelty, violence. Luke 1:71 tells us that God saved us from our enemies and from everyone who hates us. So we are no longer in the zone of hatred and cruelty, but in the kingdom of love, peace , joy and wholesomeness..( Romans 14:17)

1 Thessalonians 5:5 CEV says, “You belong to the light and live in the day. We don't live in the night or belong to the dark.” That is even though weeping might show up in the night, but joy comes with the morning, for we live in the morning and not in the night.

So, even when we pass through the darkness in the world today, we are not destroyed for the Lord, our Light Is with us and in us.(2 Corinthians 4:7) Isaiah 60:2 NIV says, “ See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE COURAGEOUSLY IN THIS DARK WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
