WE ARE SAVED FROM THE CRUELTY OF THE DARK PLACES CONCLUDES

Have regard for your covenant, because haunts of violence fill the dark places of the land.

Psalms 74:20 NIV

Ponder these words of Jesus and Martha when Lazarus died. “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”(John 11:21,25-26 NIV)

Many believe that if Jesus is with us, then we will not face the distress of this world. But our mindset should be, because Jesus is with us, even though we pass through the distress of this world, we will not be destroyed. For He told Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;”

We have His resurrection life, the very power that raised Jesus from death lives in us. Romans 8:11 NIV says, “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”

Let us be courageous and never lose hope in this dark world .
