WE ARE THE GLORIFIED IN CHRIST

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 1:27 NKJV

This is indeed a joyful mystery, we can leap with ecstatic joy all day long knowing that come what may Christ in us is our hope of glory in all circumstances. It is no longer about our merit or what we should do to live a glorious life, but simply Christ in us! This is awesome. On one occasion, when Christ was troubled about His sufferings and death, He called for God's glory, “ Father, glorify Your name.” (John 12:28 NKJV) Then, He hadn't been glorified yet.

Now , He has glorified God on earth and the Father has glorified Him in Himself. In John 13:31-32 NKJV He said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in Him. If God is glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and glorify Him immediately.” Since God has glorified Christ in Himself, in trouble times, we are no longer asking God to glorify His name as Jesus did, rather we ask God to receive His glory. For Christ is in us displaying the glory of God so that the Father will be glorified in the Son.

Just as vaccinations protect us from diseases, hence we are not worried when we come in contact with them. In the same way, when we pass through challenges, we do not fear for Christ is our hope of glory. OUR duty is to live in this consciousness that Christ in us is our hope of glory, and not our performance.

WE BLESS YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR CHRIST IN US IS OUR HOPE OF GLORY IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
