WE ARE THE PACESETTERS II

From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer.

2 Corinthians 5:16 ESV

In the beginning, God set the pace in the world by bringing out good from the world in darkness. In the same way, as pacesetters we uphold the will of God on earth by conquering evil in the world with good. Instead of thinking about how bad the world is to us, we think of how good we can be to them. We do not conform to the earthly customs, rather we set the standards of the heavenly kingdom on earth through prayers, intercessions, and good deeds.

We achieve all this through the Spirit of our heavenly Father whom the world cannot contain. God does not have a fallen nature or a human nature, so are we. We share one nature, His divine nature. God's nature does not change based on the earthly circumstances, so are we. So let us not allow our feelings dictate our pace, but rather let the Spirit dictate the pace for us and for the world. “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” (Romans 8:14 ESV)
