WE ARE THE RESCUED OF THE LORD

Then you will be called, ‘The Lord's Own People, The Ones He Rescued!’ Your city will be known as a good place to live and a city full of people.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭62:12‬ ‭CEV‬‬

We are the rescued of the Lord, our new life can never be the same as before or as those that are not rescued. Not that we will not pass through some challenging times as the world does. We may pass through them, but as victors, as those who are more than conquerors. Why? ‭‭Hosea‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭CSB‬‬ says, “ And in the place where they were told: You are not my people, they will be called: Sons of the living God.”

We are no longer in the realm of death as the world, rather in the realm of life. Only the rescued of the Lord walks in this realm. The Lord did not choose us out of the world and put us in the same world all alone, rather He put us in Christ. Though we are in the world, we walk in Christ. “No one puts new wine into old wineskins.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭35:8‭-‬9‬ ‭CEV‬‬ says, “ A good road will be there, and it will be named “God's Sacred Highway.” It will be for God's people; no one unfit to worship God will walk on that road. And no fools can travel on that highway. No lions or other wild animals will come near that road; only those the Lord has saved will travel there.”
