OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

‭Galatians 3:29 NIV‬

We all love Abrahamic blessings and that we are seeds of Abraham. Have we asked ourselves why God chose Abraham? God's purpose for choosing Abraham is not only for us to inherit His blessings through Christ, but also for discipleship. The Lord said of Abraham, “For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.” (‭Genesis 18:19 NIV‬)

Our Lord Jesus, the seed of Abraham, also gave the same mandate to His apostles, “Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” (‭Matthew 28:20 NLT‬) Holy Spirit, the Lord of harvest, also spoke through the mouth of Peter, “ for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. ( ‭1 Peter 2:9 NLT‬)

So we have a Trinitarian mandate. How much emphasis are we putting in teaching others His commands in words and deeds? Remember, If we are to share in His blessings, we must also share in His discipleship. “so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SHARE THE GOSPEL TO ALL CREATION IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
