WE HAVE GREATER THINGS, ANGELIC ACTIVITIES ARE AT WORK FOR US IN CHRIST II
You will see greater things than these… you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.
John 1:50–51
Beloved, Jesus brought us into a living union with Himself and gave us access to the realities of heaven. In John 17:24 NIV, He prayed: “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.”
This connects beautifully with what Jesus told Nathanael in our theme verse: “You will see greater things than these.” He went on to speak of heaven being opened and angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.
Jacob experienced a prophetic picture of this reality. In his dream, he saw heaven connected with earth and angels moving between the two realms. (Genesis 28:12)
This explains our divine connections to heavenly realms through Christ. For we are His body on earth, and He is our head in heaven. so we are also witnessing the angelic protections, provisions, etc as they are ascending and descending on the Son of Man. Glory!
Beloved, let us never live as orphans, rather be brave for the Lord of the heavenly armies is with us .Psalms 46:10-11 NLT says, “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us”
