WE HAVE HIS GIFT OF PEACE

I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

‭John 14:27 NLT‬

The Lord, our good Shepherd does not feed us standing, that is from a place of unrest, anxiety or worries, He feeds us from a place of rest. Ezekiel 34:15 NLT‬ says, “ I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord. ‭Psalms 23:2 NLT‬ says, :He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.”

Also many places in the gospel, before He fed the people He made them sit down. For instance ‭Matthew 15:35 NLT‬

says, “So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground.” Hebrews 4:11 NIV

says, “Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.”

That is why He gave us His peace, His rest, a state of being whole. The only way to enter the rest, multiply it in all areas of our lives is by growing in the knowledge of God through His words.

‭2 Peter 1:2 NLT‬ says, “ May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.”

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ENTER HIS REST IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
