WE SHARE IN HIS DIVINE NATURE CONCLUDES

Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

2 Peter 1:4 NIV

Beloved, by His death and resurrection, we have escaped the corruption in the world to share in His divine nature. Just as a caterpillar is to conform to a butterfly, and not to a bird. In the same way, we are predestined to conform to the image of God, and not of the world. 1 Corinthians 15:40 NIV says. “There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.”

We cannot live the new life with the old, worldly mindset. “ And no one pours new wine into old wineskins.” (Mark 2:22 NIV)

Those troubles we pass through in the world today, does not mean we are fallen, for we have only one nature, the divine nature and not fallen nature . Let us learn to renew our minds with His words and partake in His divine nature .”But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO RENEW OUR MINDS WITH HIS WORDS SO AS TO SHARE IN HIS DIVINE NATURE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
