YES! THE GLORY OF GOD MUST ENDURE FOREVER

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works—

‭Psalms 104:31 NIV‬

Psalm 104 is one of the great psalms that reveals to us God's righteousness and lovingkindness as displayed in His glorious works of creations. The 4th verse says, “He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved.” In verse 9, it says about the waters, “You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the earth. If this is so, why is man tormented by earthquakes and flooding? “ for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

The 14th verse says, “ He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth.” (Psalms 104:14 NIV‬) God can cause the stock market, economic system to boom in our favor. If so why is man suffering from hardships, famine if God is the only one that provides for all? “ for all have sinned and fall short of glory of God”

The good news is that Jesus has brought God's glory back to the earth by His accomplished work of the cross. He is living in us displaying this glory through us so the world will experience God's lovingkindness and righteousness. That is why He planted us on earth. ‭Isaiah 61:3 NIV‬ says, “.. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.”

Let us stand strong as God's oaks of righteousness and display God's glory to a fallen world through the gospel of Jesus Christ!

MAY THE GLORY OF GOD ENDURE FOREVER AND MAY THE LORD REJOICE IN HIS WORKS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
