YES! THE GLORY OF GOD MUST ENDURE FOREVER II

May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works—

‭Psalms 104:31 NIV‬

All that we need in life that pleases God has been paid for by our Lord Jesus Christ. ‭Verses 20-23 of our text‬ tells us that God brings darkness so the wild animals can seek their food, and daylight so we can also meet our daily needs. This is mind-blowing! ‭2 Peter 1:3 NIV‬ says, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.”

Notice that it says “through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” There has to be a fellowship between the giver and the receiver. ‭Psalms 104:27-28 NIV‬ says,

“ All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time. When you give it to them, they gather it up.” God gives us all good things, financial, marital health and wellbeing etc. And we gather them through our knowledge of Him!

That means we receive by acknowledging every good thing He has given us in Christ Jesus. Acknowledging His lovingkindness and righteousness. Ability to know that because of His tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is shining upon us. (‭Luke 1:78 ) Ability to know that this is our “time of visitation”, our season to gather. Ability to take authority as children of El shaddai, as those seated with Christ in the heavenly realms and display the glory of God to our fallen society.

MAY THE GLORY OF GOD ENDURE FOREVER AND MAY THE LORD REJOICE IN HIS WORKS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
