DO NOT LET TROUBLES OF THIS WORLD DICTATE YOUR LIFE

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

John 16:33 NKJV

Beloved, what if the troubles of this world no longer dictated how you live? Notice that in our theme verse, the Lord Jesus did not promise us a trouble-free journey. Instead, He prepared us for the challenges we would encounter while assuring us of His victory over the world.

In Christ, troubles no longer have the final say over our lives! Rather than destroying us, our afflictions can work in us a far greater and eternal glory. “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”

( II Corinthians 4:17 NKJV)

This is why James 1:2 NIV encourages us to “consider it pure joy” whenever we face trials of many kinds. We can rejoice, not because troubles are pleasant, but because our victory in Christ gives us a reason to remain hopeful even in difficult circumstances.

Beloved, let us stand firm in faith, refusing to allow temporary trials to steal our peace or determine our outlook on life. Remember the promise of God: “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

(James 1:12 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO STAND FIRM IN TRIALS IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
