LIVE IN HARMONY WITH EACH OTHER

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:10 NLT

Beloved, let us not lose heart over the divisions in our families, rather cherish one another by faith. Remember, the Lord said in Matthew 10:35-36 NLT, ‘I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Your enemies will be right in your own household!’ However, He also prayed that all be gathered as one. “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” (John 17:11 NKJV )

Just as the Lord in John 16:33, wants us to remain cheerful despite the troubles of this world, for He has overcome the world. In the same way, we should relate to one another as one ,despite the divisions in our families and in the church, for in Christ we are one, we have crossed from death to life.

So, let us not regard one another by the flesh, instead live in harmony with one another by faith in Christ Jesus so the blessing of life will be abundant in our lives. Psalms 133:1, 3 NLT says, “How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!

Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.”
