the Lord, whose promises I praise.
Psalm 56:10 GNT
We are not of this world, hence our standard of living is different from those of the world. 2 Corinthians 10:3 NLT says,
“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.” The peace we enjoy in our lives is different from that of the world. Our prosperity in health, finance, marriage etc is not the same as those in the world.
Think calmly about this: if any decree written by a human king such as the law of Medes and Persians (Daniel 6:8), cannot be reversed, how about God's commands, His eternal words? Let us practice daily to stand strong in the word of God even though we don't understand all.
Take for instance, Philippians 3:20 tells us that our citizenship is in heaven. It doesn't matter anymore what we might go through in this dark world, our citizenship does not change. For our kingdom is in the spirit and we live in the spirit, and what God has written for us is final and cannot be revoked by our earthly circumstances or elemental forces of this world. That is why Psalms 87:6 NIV says,
“The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.”
THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS
