WAIT JOYFULLY ON THE LORD V

For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Romans 8:29 ESV

2 Corinthians 1:20 ESV says, “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” God's promises cannot turn to no in Christ because of us, for it did not become yes by our performance, it is all about His grace. Why can't we wait on the Lord with joyful hearts?

The same God who made a covenant with night and day and it stands till today, also made a covenant that He will prosper us, do you think we will fail? Deuteronomy 8:18 ESV says, “You shall remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may confirm his covenant that he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Psalm 44:3 ESV says,” for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.” In the same way, we are just weak vessels and cannot help ourselves, our power of excellence is from God. Let us wait on Him with joy. God is faithful to His words. Psalm 119:81 ESV says, “My soul longs for your salvation; I hope in your word.”
